Viewers of Strictly Come Dancing have been having problems with being able to vote in the final after experiencing technical problems.
Emmerdale actor Kelvin Fletcher, Eastenders actress Emma Barton and CBBC presenter Karim Zeroual are the celebrities competing in this year’s final and with such tough competition every vote counts.
Voting for the three contestants opened at around 7.40pm with the BBC Strictly Twitter account encouraging viewers to cast their vote for their favourites.
But many have been left unable to vote after suffering a technical glitch which claims the voter has already placed their vote and cannot place another one.
The message received by viewers who are having trouble read: “Thank you for voting. The winner will be revealed at the end of tonight’s live show so keep watching!
“You have reached the maximum number of votes allowed.”
Lots of people have been tweeting the BBC Strictly account to complain they have been left unable to vote.
Writing on Twitter, Kerry said: “Website is saying I have reached my maximum votes! I haven’t voted yet.”
Poppy Sansom wrote: “Not working again!!!. Sort it out!”
Carole Peters said: “Another issue with online voting, says I’ve voted and I haven’t. Come on BBC.”
In response to the complaints, a tweet from the BBC Strictly account said: “We are receiving a high volume of votes. If you are experiencing difficulties please try again later.”
