A Conservative MP has been arrested just after law enforcement acquired allegations of rape, sexual assault and coercive handle.
A lady in her 20s informed law enforcement that she had been assaulted and compelled to have intercourse, in accordance to a report in the Sunday Times. The lady was a former parliamentary employee. The information company Reuters says the alleged perpetrator, who has not been named, is a former minister.

“A person in his 50s was arrested on Saturday, 1 August on suspicion of rape. He has been introduced on bail to return on a date in mid-August.”
The abuse allegedly took area through a romantic relationship, the Sunday Times reported.
