Roath Park is one of Cardiff’s most famous attractions.
Its pleasant boating lake, vibrant flower gardens and huge play area offer one of the best family days out in the capital – especially on a hot summer’s day.
It officially opened in 1894 and was the first publicly-owned park in the city. But since the 20th century, a lot has changed.
These old postcards show just how much the park has changed over the years.
