A murder investigation has been launched into the death of a 20-year-old man.
North Wales Police were called to a disturbance in the area of the Waverley Hotel at Station Road in Bangor around 10.30pm on Saturday, September 19.
A 20-year-old man who suffered injuries in the incident died after being taken to hospital by paramedics.
A man was arrested at the scene and remains in police custody.
Police have now launched a murder investigation in the man’s death.
Superintendent Nick Evans, from North Wales Police, said: “A 20-year-old local man had suffered injuries during the incident and was conveyed to hospital by paramedics. Unfortunately, despite the best efforts of police officers and medical staff, the man sadly passed away in hospital.”
He added: “Our thoughts remain with the family who are being supported by specially trained officers.”
