James McClean has attempted to defend his controversial Instagram publish in which he appeared to mimic the IRA in a residence schooling session with his young children.
The Stoke City winger says it was ‘supposed to be a lighthearted joke,’ but also expressed his regret around the offensive publish, in an job interview with Sky Sporting activities.
