E.ON has caused fury among the British isles shoppers by taking payments for January 11 days early from 1.5m accounts and telling all those affected that they will not get a refund right until right after Xmas.

Hundreds of offended shoppers have confronted the power organization on Twitter to complain about the early direct debit, which they say threatens to plunge quite a few “into Xmas poverty” and unplanned overdrafts.
