This is the moment a careless and dangerous driver is arrested after seat-swapping during a dramatic police pursuit.
Olumuyiwa Rhoomes, 33, has been jailed after driving at high speed and jumping into the back seat of his car, leaving it running out of control.
His passenger sprung into the driving seat to take control of the grey Hyundai Tucson, which was travelling at 40mph, before pulling the vehicle over, Birmingham Live reports.
Rhoomes was recklessly driving through Northfleet in Kent, clipping kerbs on his way towards the town centre on October 10, 2019, Kent Police said.
He was seen overtaking another car in the face of oncoming traffic and nearly colliding with members of the public.
Shocking police body-cam footage captures the pursuit and moment Rhoomes is captured.

Rhoomes, from Amelia Street in London, was arrested at the scene and charged with dangerous driving.
He pleaded guilty to the offence and was jailed for 14 months at Maidstone Crown Court on Monday (January 27).
Investigating officer Pc Tom Slocombe said: “Rhoomes put many lives at risk including his own when he drove at speed through residential streets in an attempt to avoid police.
“He showed a blatant disregard for other road users and it’s only luck that no-one was hurt.
“Thankfully he was arrested and put before the courts and will now spend time in prison for his actions.
“He has also been banned from driving for more than three years and will need to take an extended driving test before he’s allowed back behind the wheel.”
