Everybody likes an espresso martini, and this orange-flavoured version is a neat minor twist on the first.
50ml superior-top quality vodka – we use Belvedere
25ml espresso liqueur – we use Kahlúa
10ml triple sec – De Kuyper or Cointreau are both equally good
20ml contemporary orange juice
5ml very simple one:one sugar syrup (optional)
one shot espresso, cooled
one twist orange peel, to garnish
Place all the liquids in a shaker, insert a large handful of ice and shake difficult for seven to 10 seconds.
Double pressure into a chilled martini glass or coupette, garnish with orange peel and get pleasure from.
