Cadbury has confirmed it’s bringing back an iconic chocolate bar.

The chocolate giant will put the old favourite back on shelves following a petition from fans.

Cadbury is known for its incredible chocolate bars, including the newly added Orange Twirl, but it’s also said goodbye to some pretty popular ones.

Dream bars and Mars Delight are just two of the tasty products that have been discontinued in the UK.

But now, in a rare move, Cadbury is bringing back an old favourite, reports Birmingham Live .

The company has confirmed Bournville Old Jamaica is returning to shelves this year.

This iconic dark chocolate Rum & Raisin bar will return in January 2020.

Cadbury Bournville Old Jamaica was originally launched in 1970 and has made several appearances as a limited edition since then, to the delight of consumers across the UK.

It was relaunched as part of the CDM ‘Classics’ range in 1987 and again as part of the ‘World of Chocolate’ range in the mid-1990s.

It was most recently on shelves 10 years ago, for one year, as part of the Bournville range.

Speaking about the re-release, Bethany Wenn, Bournville Brand Manager at Mondelēz International, said: “We’re really excited to bring back the return of Bournville Old Jamaica bar. The relaunch highlights the increasing consumer demand to bring back retro flavours.”

Bournville Old Jamaica will be available in 180g and 100g tablets.
